My name is Skip Martin and I have been fishing as far back as I can remember, competitively for the last 15 years. I obviously love being on the water but guiding and tournaments bring out my competitive side.

I take great pride in being relentless in trying to figure out catfish. A tournament win or a smile on some ones face makes it even better. I know your time and money is important to you when choosing a guide, I also know there are several to choose from. That is why I offer a 50 pound guarantee on channel cat trips. If you don’t catch 50 total pounds, the trip is on me. Most trips you will catch over that, but weather and spawn does happen and I don’t think you should pay for a trip if you don’t catch fish. On flathead and blue cat trips I still try to keep you busy with smaller fish but if you decide you are ready to go after larger trophy fish sometimes its an all or nothing game so I don’t offer the guarantee on those trips. Safety and getting everyone back to the dock is my number one priority. Second is making sure everyone is involved in catching fish, learning and having a great time.
